Yes, your patch works for the startup. And I really much agree in the way you solve it. We should rely much more on glib. glib is our friend. However, this is just the first hurdle. The next place it fails is in MoveGnubgpr(). I commented the call to MoveGnubgpr, and now I can start the program. Next: Save settings.
