I'll need to get some additional info: I need to find out what GNUBG is doing under the hood. I need you to open a Terminal shell to get a command prompt (The terminal App is in /Applications/Utilities)
I need you to launch it. You will be given a prompt (usually you computer name, your account name followed by a $). At that prompt I want you to put these three commands in (followed by the enter key of course): uname -a ls -ld ~/.gnubg /Applications/gnubg.app/Contents/MacOS/bin/gnubg.x11 This will (or should) start running GNUBG from the command line and should allow you to see what is going on. Once you start to launch it, wait at least 2 minutes. I need you to copy (and paste) into an email everything that is printed after launching the command. There may be an error message in there somewhere (I hope) but I need to see what it is saying. One other thing, I'd like to know if you hear sound when you do the above command as well? _______________________________________________ Bug-gnubg mailing list [email protected] https://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/bug-gnubg
