I'm installing High Sierra on one of my older Macs and will see if I can find out what i causing these issues. I don't intend to creat DMGs anymore, but *if* we can find a solution getting fixes in place so it can be installed via Macports would be my preference. This is a big *if*. At this point in time I'm unsure what I will find.
