Follow-up Comment #7, bug #19352 (project gnustep):
You were right. I was using "Adobe Helvetica" which much to my surprise was
in fact a screen font without a matching vector font. Using real vector fonts
works as promised.
I'll see what I can find on the scaling and clipping issues.
