Could you ask the fellow that we are most interested in the features
that we don't have in GNU ping to be added to GNU ping, but that
having two ping's in GNU that do the same thing, doesn't make much
sense?
That is exactly what I told him.
Sorry I didn't realize about GNU ping already supporting different
icmp types, or I wouldn't have pinged you :) in the first place.
No worries, it is impossible for everyone to know everything. :-)
