Well, the patch does fix the bug I reported (at the posting at the top of the thread). It has no effect on #882 or #732. Hardly surprising since the proposed patch for #807 touches _only_ the bracket code, and #882 and #732 don't involve brackets. Since _all_ of them involve centered columns and their dimensions, I can't rule out that the proposed patch has been made to work just by trial-and-error. BUT the braces before _and_ after patch _properly_ enclose the centered column. So my guess is that brace calculations are _impervious_ to the bug in #882/#732 (since the braces properly enclose their _contents_ in all the tested cases, either before or after the #807 patch), and the patch only affects the _outside_ of the braces, making them apparently occupy the right amount of space. So from my testing the patch is unrelated to #882/#732, and the bug in #882/#732 does not apparently affect the test case for #807 either which way. -- David Kastrup _______________________________________________ bug-lilypond mailing list bug-lilypond@gnu.org http://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/bug-lilypond
