I tried changing the file slightly to force it to regenerate. Two facts
are interesting:
1) file lily-da981a3f.png
lily-da981a3f.png: PNG image, 835 x 1181, 1-bit colormap, non-interlaced
** all the other .png files in that dir are 8-bit grayscale, not 1-bit
colormap.
2) the png is a "full page size", not small like the others.
