I can't find the email.
Basically he said that for every case except git-cl, we want to have ps be
a postcript extension.
There are only two .ps files in git, so we can deal with it if we need to.
He also searched for commits where .ps files caused a problem, and couldn't
find any. I searched as well, and couldn't find the ones I had found
earlier. So I must have seen it wrong. Perhaps I saw output-ps.scm, and
it was a .scm file that hung.
Anyway, the fix for .scm is important, and probably all we need to do.
