If you are referring to the problem illustrated by ftp://ftp.berlios.de/pub/star/testscripts/README.GNUtar-multivol.fail, then it was fixed long ago (in tar 1.15). By the way, could you update the README files in that directory? All this bugs were fixed, so the files are misleading. Regards, Sergey
