http://nagoya.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=7932 Unable to Terminate when ZoneAlarm Installed ------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2002-04-21 21:32 ------- Ok, taking it much easier now. Sorry for the diatribe. Your current explanation provides a better context for your first comments. It is now clear to me that you weren't just blowing off this issue. It still would be nice if someone with knowledge of the inner workings of Apache would install Zone Alarm and Apache2 together and track down the cause of, first, the service not being able to shut down, and second, the BSoD. The problem is pretty easy to replicate. I think it would be time well spent. I would attempt this myself, but I am not much of a C/C++ programmer and don't have much of an idea of how I would debug something like this? I'll go ahead a let Zone Labs know that there seems to be a conflict between Zone Alarm and Apache2, see what they have to say and report that back here. Jake
