There is still a lot of untapped sources of incom <http://endthelie.com/2013/04/05/the-new-renaissance-how-bitcoin-millionaires -will-change-the-world/#axzz2PhSGA0IK>e out there, and they are disproportionately of the hacker mentality <https://www.quantcast.com/inside-quantcast/2013/04/who-uses-bitcoins/>. They might not be OS hackers per say, but honestly it takes absolute 0 effort to create a wallet where people can donate money. All you will have is gain, and absolutely nothing to lose. You put 5 minutes of effort to put a simply x amount of bits address, and voila that is it. If it was too much of a headache for you, if you would get even 100 dollars of donations as a result of that. That would be a steal, but I can almost guarantee you will get a whole lot more than that (my guess is tens of thousands or more). I will personally make sure, at no expense of your own to go and evangelize this for you. So that you don't have to even move a finger in order for that to happen.
I am sure that many here would share some of my problems with Credit cards/debit cards/paypal chargebacks along with identity theft. Just right now I am contesting for months now in my Dads account, Netflix, Hulu, Skype charges that are completely foreign among other things. I don't know from where the hell that came from. However, my use with credit/debit cards is going to be over for good soon. I have had to make SOO many new accounts because of that, and most of the time I have never received my money back. On top of all the waste of hours of precious time trying to get your money back. So yes, I would be VERY pleased to be able to still support such a project as OpenBSD but without all the drama associated with that. All it takes is one merchant, I don't care how getting a hold of your info and honestly I don't trust anyone with that information and neither should anyone when there is a ten times better option. Now with regards to the whole "legacy" currency a system such as bitpay <https://bitpay.com/> takes care of that type of problem, if you want to instantly transfer your BTC into fiat. Even more perfect, BTC wallets secured with OpenBSD type of security almost looks like the two were meant for a marriage, in fact that is what got me into OpenBSD so that I can keep a clean install with a wallet with nothing else installed so that it is hack proof. There are tons of articles <http://bitcoinmagazine.com/bitpay-receives-510000-from-investors/> proving the credibility of this company (bitpay) and the huge amount of full time workers just created recently is proof that they are working round the clock pretty busy attempting to meet the demand. It looks to me that you are not too aware of BTC <https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Um63OQz3bjo>, if you are then my apologies. However, for everyone out there this is pretty mainstream now and is here to stay. If you want to cash out that is your deal, but there are plenty of options out there. Being the group of alpha hackers that you are, this would be something that surprises me no one has accepted. */Therefore I would heavily reconsider your options, and adapt/*. Thanks hope I was more clear this time. Once again thanks for all the great work everyone. My hope is that you can be able to fund many other projects with such quality code such as PF, SSH and many other things of that nature that have helped the open source movement be so secure.
