No I did not notice. I thought I was building in a different tree. Sorry about that! I think your "if you don't care" comment was refering to my earlier mail from a different thread where my remark was pointed towards the randomness not the octeon port. To be clear, I don't care if the ELF random section is zeroed on Octeon (it has been that way for a long time w/o anyone objecting). I *do* care that all the octeon machines that we support keep on booting the OpenBSD kernel.
