By the way, Bernhard Beschow seems to work on preparation of ESP32C3, and 
Xtensa based ESP32 and ESP32S3 emulation to be ported into QEMU mainline, see 
his `esp-master` branch

but I have not luck with it on my Linux system. May be some crypto and config 
flash setup. Not sure. But when it is available in mainline this could be 
useful solution for CI testing including SJA1000 CAN because they map our 
NXP/OpenCores SJA10000 controller emulation into Espressif machines.
