It Is useless to unwind. Nothing significative is done by unwind which
means nothing that is useful for exiting. Unwind means restore
variabiles values and free some of them buy nothig that brings any
value. It Is opposite: the values that are needed for traps are those
before the unwind.

All I want to say on that is that if you think that is a change for the
better, I think you should present it as such and demonstrate, ideally
with examples, what changes and why you think that change is good,
rather than just present it as a code cleanup.
