Five of us recently went on a weekend trip to Valparai, in the Anamalai ranges of Tamil Nadu. I photographed some butterflies and have put up a post with them at
http://deponti.livejournal.com/484534.html Many of them were mud-puddling on the Valparai-Chalakkudy road. Can one call it mud-puddling when there was really no mud, but they were just on the road surface or near the water? Could my friends on this egroup please help with the id's? I am not able to make the proper matches, and indeed, am not sure how to look.
