No, next year is 2012. It’s 2011.
Everyone is talking about next year’s MSWE.

It is only 3 years off. I think for most of us, that is almost hitting it dead center!
I know it is for me!

Please note that all the e-mail in this thread reference 2012. Have no clue where it came from.

Is this thread about MSWE or SkyWarn? After recently being denied access to the ship compound at Seawolfe park, I put a query on the reflector about the interest of members in Ft. Travis on Bolivar, but I have not received any replies. Jerry Muller recently withdrew from his co-chairman position for personal reasons and I am interested in anyone who desires to take over that role. At present I am wondering if there is sufficient interest in the event to query the Galveston County Park Board about the availability of Ft. Travis. Last year was good, but the mosquitos in the early evening were fierce.
After I made my query, I did not receive any messages on the BVARC reflector until the one from Mike Hardwick shown below. I would appreciate it if the situation would be briefly discussed at the coming board meeting and the feeling of the BOD would be relayed to me.

We won’t have internet out there unless someone has a wireless modem.
