Gayle, As Gary suggested, measure the voltage right at the rig.....after the fuses and even maybe inside the rear panel. Should be 13.5v + If not adjust the mfj for the correct voltage. Voltage drop over a looong power cord can be a culprit. GL.....Rick. W5RH
