You need to measure the voltage as I indicated with the rig in CW mode into
an antenna or whatever you used before when you measured the power output.
Now a cheap but accurate digital volt-ohm meter will cost as little as $10.
A small investment in your hobby I think.

without a power chord. I ordered a Yaesu power chord thru MFJ and it came
with two inline fuses one on the positive side one on the negative side,
both rated at 20A and look good. Question If I might ask still is
MFJ-4225MV@25A ..... too under powered or acceptable barely but could be
