I wish.... Not being in Houston makes it a little hard. But I do have
contacts there. I think it would be great if the club had a permanent
clubhouse, if it has the money to be able to afford it. The old Houston
amateur radio club site was down near the Astrodome and eventually became,
shall we say, an area nobody wanted to visit. I love the bi-monthly
auctions they had. Bought a lot of gear because of them. It's time for
Houston to have that again..
I'd be happy to join the committee. I'd have to be making the meetings at
night or on the weekends though. Provided I'm not on the road for work
which I've been doing a lot of. In fact I have today off because I already
hit my 40 hours yesterday
