Yeah, I'm using the binary distribution. Ok, I suppose the only solution
is to recompile xerces. Thanks.

Uhm, the folder name lets me believe that you are using the binary
distribution, and that you made the change in your project; you
should make the change in the project found in the Xerces source
distribution, then recompile Xerces and use the newly built binaries.
