You don't need to compile xerces by your own if it is hard. Here is download link http://archive.apache.org/dist/xml/xerces-c/Xerces-C_1_7_0/xerces-c1_7_0-win32.zip from apache website. the xerces dll/libs would be located in bin/lib dir of this distribution.
