Hi,

Just wondering if there was any follow-up with Daniel's post. Daniel has
already started adding Cactus support to the Eclipse Web Tools Platform
(WTP) project (see http://www.eclipse.org/webtools). Seems a shame to
waste effort duplicating functionality that can benefit both projects.
(Much of the functionality in the Webapp Eclipse plugin is probably
available from the WTP.) The WTP project is already working with or using
several Apache projects including Axis, Tomcat, Geronimo, Derby, and
Xerces.

As the Cactus Eclipse plugin has not been updated for Eclipse 3.x yet (and
Eclipse 3.1 was just released) my first question is, is anyone currently
working on the Cactus Eclipse plugins?

Hi everyone,

I have recently started working on integrating Cactus with the Eclipse
WebTools project. WebTools has J2EE run, build and deploy functionality
so it seemed like a natural place to integrate with Cactus. If there are
other people interested in helping with Eclipse/WebTools integration, I
encourage your to join the WebTools mailing list
(https://dev.eclipse.org/mailman/listinfo/wtp-dev), or to communicate
with me directly.

Thank very much,

Daniel
