Thanks glen,
i will be starting my work on the caiman-constructor's GUI today, i was
wondering how would i go about accessing the package-repositories just to
get
the name of the package and some package information and possible get the
"package information only" from other sources like ubuntu's repositories the
way aptitude package manager does it , because i guess the Ubuntu community
is the largest right now and has most number of indexed packages.

regards,
