Correct. We're runnning out of vertical space. We can claw a bit more 
space by repositioning the time setting to be beside the date setting 
rather than below.
It might just be enough. We may also need to consider making the default 
zoomed out initial map size a bit smaller, or to crop the map image when 
it's zoomed
out, like it does for the zoomed in view. Making the map smaller would 
allow more room for padding around the opensolaris logo also.

Frank:  Which approach do you prefer?
Jedy: Do you think either fix is risky or complicated to do?
