I have been working on supporting Zpools in libtd. This would impact
what you mention in section 3.2.5
"Definition of new API to retrieve zpool contents for current client"
What I've been working on is very similar but instead of being a new
API, it uses the same API and supports the zpool object type as part of
the current td_discover().
