No, the repository is a complete re-import in the installed environment.
That is an interesting difference, since the existing implementation
does end up carrying it from the copy of the live CD environment. I
suppose we probably would want to preserve that behavior on the
assumption that VESA was forced for good reason. That probably leads to
an implementation where we should instead supply an SMF profile that can
be copied into /etc/svc/profile/site and automatically applied. Let me
consider a bit...
