I think the tests that have a hard set sleep() call should be extracted and isolated so we don't pollute Hudson. If you do this, make sure to check $SRC/tools/tests/tests.nose to make sure we're not picking up a directory of tests we shouldn't be running.
Also, you might want to verify slim_regression_test.py doesn't run them either.
