There are several things: Some parts in the manual and wiki's tutorial are out of date which caused confusion to newbies (or at least me *_*), FAQ is a great idea, we can make it like a wiki so everyone can help? (I will certainly do)
And I still believe that a Forum is way better than this. Reasons: 1. Categories: You cant have the precise categories, but at least you can have the basic ones like: Controllers - Helpers - Components - MySQL - Integration - ..... We only have roughly 3000 members in this list now, but CakePHP is really great and we may have 30000 here soon *_*. And it may be a nightmare to search through the list. When I go to a support forum, I know where should I seek the answers. 2. Easier to manage: you can have some people volunteer to manage the forums. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Cake PHP" group.
