Having done a blog posting about this topic a bit, I'd say it comes down to this:
1) if you like to use the same set of libraries on your own projects, Codeigniter is for you. It's a "glue" framework that lends itself easily to putting stuff together that already exists 2) CakePHP is a "full-stack" framework in that it gives you libraries to do (in my opinion) about 99% of the work of building sites right out of the box Being lazy, I prefer full-stack solutions. I've never come across code libraries that I *must* use from project to project. -- Chris Hartjes Senior Developer Cake Development Corporation My motto for 2007: "Just build it, damnit!" @TheBallpark - http://www.littlehart.net/attheballpark @TheKeyboard - http://www.littlehart.net/atthekeyboard --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Cake PHP" group.
