If you guys don't compromise in some way, you will not be hurting each other, you will be hurting Cake and the entire community. I know you probably know that, so just be careful with the arguments. You're all doing something great here, put your petty ego aside and act like adults. The important thing is to stick together and work it out, no matter what. And please don't branch or split the team in any way. This would probably mark the beginning of the end.
