Thank, Gwoo.

Perhaps when you feel the time is right, you might consider posting
something official to better explain the changes to everyone.

As long as there is careful, hands on management of development
decisions, ensuring the continued growth of the framework in a
sensible way, I think everyone will benefit from more hands, and you
won't get them in any serious way unless you more openly involve new
talented people.

The community, I think, might also feel more secure if development
responsibility and knowledge was spread across several core team
members who are managed well.

Other projects which have tried to keep things too centralized
(phpNuke) have stinted their growth as a result. By contrast, Joomla
has literally taken off since they moved to a more open decision
making format.

It is clear cake's lead developer is a genius - the evidence is
available for all to see. I also have no doubt about the indebtedness
thousands of people on this list should feel towards him for the
kindness he has shown everyone, by donating so much of his valuable
time and abilities, for so long.

But in my humble organizational opinion, responsibilities need to be a
little more decentralized so the project can better scale going
forward.

In any case, I would imagine it is better to share a central role in
the world's most successful project, than the lead role in a stagnant
project.
