>> My blog is not an "official blog", it just happens to be my blog.
Well, I called it official because it's on the home page blog list. Sorry if your idea of official meant something else. >> I happen to be the lead developer of this project. I respect your role and have no wish to upset you. We're only discussing a blog here which some of us think is good enough to merit a link. I may be naive, but I can't see how he is benefiting much from spending hours of his time writing articles to publicise Cake. The dev team already do a fantastic job controling the code and official docs, but do you really need such a draconian grip on the blog list? Why not just let the community suggest which blogs they like. Any negative ones would soon be voted off. While the important contributors to Cake were busy doing their stuff, the rest of us could contribute by creating some competitive and fun atmosphere to keep the Cake blogosphere flying. The bloggers should compete for top spot. It could be such a great way of promoting Cake. Think about it. The current list could really be given a good dusting down. Especially yours. Honestly Nate, you really shouldn't be troubling yourself so much about something like the blog list. You often write that you "don't care", but the reality is that you care too much. Just let go of some of these details and the world will be an easier place. If you don't believe me, then listen to this cautionary tale: when a control freak goes out of control, all that's left is a freak :-) --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "CakePHP" group.
