Rick's dance is to a slip-jig (or similar) so you get six beats for a
move rather than the usual eight.


A trifle off-topic, but I first encountered the title as a morris-dance performance piece, where six dancers each did "Highland Mary" in a different tradition. (Which is hilarious. There's one style in which they do one fewer repeat, so that guy is just standing there looking at his watch going through the last repeat, etc, etc.) I bet Rick Mohr has encountered that morris dance.
