Bopa, do you think the Vietnamese agression/crimes would of happened had the US not bombed Cambodia? I know its hypothetical. The reason I ask is that the ICP party founded by Ho chi minh had been established for years and the "underground communist movement" was established for some time in Cambodia. Why then to the best of my knowledge was there no genocide or at least to the magnitude of Cambodia's in Laos? Perhaps Vietnams' takeover of Cambodia would of been a more quieter had the Americans not bombed Cambodia? Can you recomend any books about the relationship between Vietnam and Laos.
