I don’t know how US can discharge its conscience or its crime in its contribution to the genocide against Khmer people. Of course with or without US bombing, Yuons Vietcong will find ways to lead genocide in Indochina or against Khmer. It is its ancestral political culture since centuries and apparently that yuons Vietcong is not ready to end this culture today or tomorrow but US and other countries help to make yuon criminal plan to happen in the way we all known.
I understand that comparing to Cambodia, Viet genocide or Viet execution against Laos people are being led or done in much silent I don’t think that it needs US bombing to expand news about genocide in Cambodia. Khmer people always find way to denounce the criminals who massacred them in one way or other as we can observe through history. Yuons already led similar genocide against Khmer many time in the past and even most of intellectuals were massacred by yuons, there are always people who left us the traces of yuon atrocities against them in many way. International community are much silent concerning yuon crimes in Laos comparing to Cambodia but if Cambodia is different Laos it is not usual for the benefice of victims but the criminals. It is easy for many to clean and profit crimes with the criminals than to lose defending valor or victims. Non don’t is concerned how much Laos people have been killed by yuons? Or ask how yuons vietcong can easily handle over Laos than Cambodia? Actually yuons can freely exploit Laos natural resources, oil, forest etc, as they did in Cambodia. Laos massive forest, noble woods, dated centuries back have been destroyed, cut down by Viets to transformed into daily utensils for consummator societies as US or European societies at low cost. These societies say nothing or did nothing significant to end yuon crimes in that region, if not to consent with it, to profit at time, yuons crimes and yuons low maneuver in which these societies in needed. The protestors then left to go home without being really convinced by these promises. In this village, villagers who lived there the longest were brushed off whereas those who recently arrived were not. When asked over the phone, a representative of the protesters testified: “I am not certain that I will receive rice. We are in between seasons, and we don’t have any more rice stock. In some homes, they don’t even have one cup of rice in reserve.” Ly Ponn, the Krakor interim district governor, said that “the distribution of rice went well. The village chiefs have followed well the directives given by the National Authority for the Prevention of Natural Disasters. It was the poor who received the rice.
