b) The Germans: Adolf Hitler & the Nazi did NOT commit a genocide against their own people, the German people. They committed a genocide against a foreign race, the Jews. 2) a) The Khmers: Pol Pot's Cambodia provoked Vietnam into the war. The war between Pol Pot's Cambodia & Vietnam erupted. b) The Germans: Adolf Hitler's Germany provoked the Allies into the war. The war between Adolf Hitler's Germany & the Allies, aka World War 2 or WW2, erupted. 3) a) The Khmers: Vietnam invaded Pol Pot's Cambodia. Pol Pot was defeated by Vietnam. The Cambodian people were rescued from the genocide by Vietnam. b) The Germans: The Allies invaded Adolf Hitler's Germany. Adolf Hitler was defeated by the Allies.
