Hello Westernstar,

The web page that recounts that version doesn't mention which song he
sang. For me I think that that story has a probability of about 50% of
being true. However I believe the version similar to the one given by
you is more likely to be true.

I take this opportunity to request the Cambodian government to
officially declare Sin Si Samouth as a national treasure, and to
construct some kind of commemorative statue or monument to honor him.
