You have to know the characater of SSM. He was not the type of outgoing,
joyful person who liked to sing outside his professional band. In real life,
he was so quiet and gentle. To say he asked to sing his favourite songs and
all that was unlikely.

I don't think he was evacuated to Bath Tambang ( if this place even
existed) either. The evacuation only took place later in 1976. But from some
sources he was arrested much earlier in 1975, outside Phnom Penh. A person
told me a few weeks ago that he saw SSM around Prek Eng, and this account
matched that of Kong Bun Chhoeun's and others'.

So it was likey he died in Kandal pronvince so early in the regime. Mind
you, in this province there were already some long established KR prisons,
such as that of Koh Anglong Chen, where many victims were killed.
