I think Ta Boo said that the Khmer Rouge had Sin Si Samouth sing his
most favorite song, not that he asked to sing his favorite songs. As
for "Bath Tambang", I believe Ta Boo means "Battambang" (for me I
would spell it "Batt Dom Borng").

As for the character of Sin Si Samouth, I agree with you.

I like to ask the Cambodian government to officially declare Sin Si
Samouth as a national treasure, and to build some kind of memorial to
honor him.
