Who is Sihanouk? Isn't he a Cambodian who lead his own people to kill
one another?
What do you call that?

too? What do you call that?
Then the Khmer Rouge, Who are they? Aren't hey Cambodians? How many
people of their own did they kill?
What do you call that?
Then you are talking about the government therafter. You already said

Now put all of those things together. What do you get?

Here are the things you should find.
1- They are Cambodians
2- They are committing those things that you are talking about.
3- They do it on their own people
4- They do it in their own country with/without the help of other
nation.

Since you have already seen them. What do you think now?
