23 October was a significant day in Cambodian history, but 18 March was
not the main cause of the killing field. Cold Wars of the superpowers and the
invasions by Vietcong, North Vietnamese Armed Forces and their allies that
led to the event of 18 March. The Khmer Rouge (and Khmer Viet Minh)
existed before 18 March and it was so named by Prince Sihanouk, the PM of
Cambodia, and they were supported by the communist block.

If 18 March was cause for Cambodian war that led to the Killing field,
then why KRT? Shall we bring all Khmer Republican leaders to trial for the
death of 1.7 millions, too, then? What about the US who supported the Khmer
Republic? Nixon, Kissinger?

Why didn't Sam Raingsy mention about the Vietcongs, the North Vietnamese,
the Chinese and Prince Sihanouk who was siding with the Khmer Rouge and
Vietcong that give Pol Pot his victory on April 17?
