back from Rama V ( King Chulalongkhorn ) .He said he has 11 historical
documents to prove that Thai owned more land than French map. If we
digged further, we know that during RAMA V, King Norodom was a khmer
king, French protectorat was in completed control in Cambodia. There
was a war Franco-Thai war where French was attempting to wrestle Thai
some land in Lao and Cambodia, as result there was an agreement signed
during 1907 between French and Thai which provinces belonged to
Cambodia and Lao, there was a trade between province Trat and
Sisophon, where Thai took Trat and French took Sisophon, that why Thai
in changvat TRat celebrates independence day every year.Ramakhamheng
university is preparing to revoke honorary PhD degree from Hun
Sen,amid of Thai-Cambodia conflict, it seems the conflict will not be
ended very soon.
