The Hippie "movement"...wrongly or rightly, i may call it, started in
the mid-60s to about
early 70s in the US. WoodStock in 1969 really glorified the movement
and the ripple effect of it
lasted to about mid-70s around the globe. The most memorable key
points of the movement
were the WoodStock in 1969 in the East Coast in the USA and the
Vietnam war. I think one of the-not-so recent
movies that brings back memories from those days is "Forest Gump"!!!
