Nokor Reach. That is your personal opinion too . You forget this kingdom was found and supported by the three pillars which translated in the the three mottos, King, Relegion and Nation. Without these three pillars, the whole kingdom would collapse as we had seen.There has been no leader can rule the kingdom of Cambodia that lasted longed with the absence of monarchy institution .From Lon Nol to Pol Pot, how long they had lasted ? The country had plunged into civil war then to genocide . Today the ruling party has played different tactics, keep the institution and ruled differently.Who advised them to do that, you think they like former king personally ? For the sake of stability and prosperity on their terms, the monrachy institution must be restored and supported . As you know the world and majority of peace loving people are looking a big picture, the well being of the people including peace, stability and economic prosperity , then they can do something else . Historically, there are bad kings and good kings like other countries around the globe.
