OUR CONDOLENCES TO HE. Richard Holbrooke FAMILY.
Richard Holbrooke, Obama's Envoy to Afghanistan and Pakistan, Dies at
69.
Holbrooke joined the Foreign Service in 1962. Vietnam loomed large in his
early career. He served a tour there in the mid-1960s, including time in the
Mekong Delta for USAID. In 1966, he began working on Vietnam issues in the
White
House under President Lyndon B. Johnson. He later wrote a portion of the
Pentagon Papers -- the secret internal history of the
Vietnam War that was leaked to and published by the New York Times. Holbrooke
saw the Vietnam War come full circle: he was part of the U.S. delegation to the
Paris peace talks with the North Vietnamese that ended the war. (1)

Holbrooke's career took him to all corners of a changing world. He served as
director of the Peace Corps in Morocco in the early 1970s and later, under
President Jimmy Carter, tackled issues in Asia as the Assistant Secretary of
State for East Asian and Pacific Affairs. He served as chairman of the Asia
Society from 2002 to 2009.

During President Clinton's second term in office, Holbrooke was the U.S.
ambassador to the United Nations.
Beyond his roles in the State Department, Holbrooke also served as managing
editor of Foreign Policy, in leadership roles at two Wall Street banks and,
prior to joining the Obama administration, as vice chairman of Perseus LLC, a
private equity firm. He also served in leadership roles at a number of
non-profits and authored a memoir, "To End a War," about his time in the former
Yugoslavia.

Richard
Holbrooke

It was there that Holbrooke had some of his most dramatic moments of
diplomacy and statecraft. In the mid-1990s, he served as assistant secretary of
state for Europe, where he brokered peace in the Balkans, crafting the Dayton
Peace Accords that ended years of brutal fighting in Bosnia.

In The Washington Post, he recalled a tense negotiation in 1995 to open the
besieged city of Sarajevo with three war criminals: Slobodan Milosevic, Ratko
Mladic and Radovan Karadzic. Reacting to an outburst by Karadzic, who got up to
leave the negotiating table, Holbrooke told him that he could leave and make a
phone call, but if he did, Holbrooke and the Americans would depart and "the
bombing would intensify."

Karadzic sat back down. After 10 hours of negotiations, the siege of Sarajevo
was lifted.
"Two months later," Holbrooke wrote in the Post, "the war would end at Dayton,
never to resume."
Holbrooke is survived by his wife, two sons and two stepchildren.

Zhou Enlai: We should support Sihanouk for the time being and see how he will
act. We should support him because he supports the anti-American struggle in
Vietnam,
because the Indochinese countries opposed the Japanese [and] French in the past
and because we have been supporting him after the [1955] Bandung Conference [of
nonaligned nations]. We will also see whether he really wants to establish a
united front to oppose the US
before we support him. But because of the circumstances he may change his
position. However, the more we can win his sympathy the better. It is what we
initially think.

The fighting capability of the Sihanouk faction cannot match
yours. So if Sihanouk agrees to establish a united front, Cambodian forces can
be stronger.

FOR CAMBODIA
Strong Resolution on
Cambodia Human Rights Abuses
Feb. 27,
1982 : UN Commission on Human Rights meeting in Geneva adopted
a resolution condemning Vietnam’s
occupation of Cambodia as a violation of Cambodian human
rights.
The vote was 28 in
favor, 8 against, and 5 abstentions.

Oct. 21, 1986 The UN
General Assembly adopted a resolution A/RES/41/6, by vote of 116-21 with
13 abstentions, calling for a withdrawal of Vietnamese forces from
Cambodia.

10 UN
RESOLUTIONS,(1979-1988) VOTED BY 116 UN MEMBER COUNTRIES ,CALL VIETNAM TO CEASE
HER OCCUPATION OF CAMBODIA & REMOVE ALL HER TROOPS FROM THE COUNTRY, ARE NOT
RESPECTED AS OF TODAY.

President Reagan's address to the 43d Session of
the United Nations General Assembly in New York, New York,September 26, 1988.

"Mr. Secretary-General, there are new hopes for Cambodia, a nation whose
freedom and independence we seek just as avidly as we sought the freedom and
independence of Afghanistan. We urge the rapid removal of all Vietnamese
troops ...."

As of today,Cambodia is still
occupied by the Vietnamese troops :

1. despite the call from the US President Reagan to Vietnam to cease
her occupation of Cambodia since 1988.
2. because America, under President Clinton,( Anti Khmer race ,like
Henry Kissinger and his policy of bombing and
invasion of Cambodia in 1970's) by 1995 and his group had reversed the Reagan
adminstration 's compliance with the 10 UN resolutions.
CAMBODIA today remains OCCUPIED BY
VIETNAM 1979-2010.

Cambodia needs Independence from
Vietnam and the Vietnamese communist
 invaders.
Vietnam must cease her occupation of Cambodia at
once.

THE MOMENT , AMERICA, UNDER HENRY KISSINGER
INVISIBLE HANDS , BEHIND THE SCENE , STOPS COLLABORATING WITH THE CAMBODIAN
ENEMIES(THE VIETNAMESE COMMUNIST OCCUPIERS , THE FRIENDS OF
HENRY KISSINGER ) ALL KHMER COULD FIND INSTANTLY PEACE &
JUSTICE.

Cambodian coup d'état of March 18th, 1975, it is necessary, and it is the right
thing to do in term of politics and economics freedom and to prevent wide
spread of communist and Socialists’ decease. The communist and Socialists’
economics theory looks good on paper, but come to reality it fails.

Too bad that many Cambodians don’t understand of their freedom, by allow a few
individuals to lies through their teeth and chip away their freedom a little
bit at the time.
