Mr Baphon talk about defending Kampot and I happened to be there too. I met a Para Colonel who just came from the front line to report to the situation to Kampot Governor at operation room. He looked worrisome. I knew this colonel since before the war. His parent house was across from my house. I met him several times when I was student and playing chess against his brother at his parent house. He was already colonel before the war and didn't get any promotion even toward the end of 1973. I didn't know his full name, but I call him Bawng On. If you come across any survival Para, ask him about the fate of this colonel.
