I really recommend you purchase Jon's book. I sent cash using
the old carbon-paper trick - get an 8-1/2 by 11 sheet of carbon
paper and fold in inside a sheet of letter paper, with the $$$
in the middle. Completely opaque from the outside. The book is
worth the money, it's a really good job, clear and well-written.
Another thing I've been doing is collecting images of view cameras.
Ebay is a good source, actually, as there's always a view camera
or two for sale, and you can save off the pix for free! I've
learned a lot by studying the pictures. I haven't built anything
yet, but have gotten a lot of useful ideas.
