don't forget the best camera plans source - your own inventiveness! If you
have a 4x5 camera take a look at it - what you don't like, make it better.
What you like take it over. If you don't have a 4x5 camera hire it for a day
or two! Better value for the money if you hire over the weekend. You can
even hire very specialized cameras that would otherwise never cross your
path... I have made 5 cameras, never saw any plan for any but I studied
their constructions and read a lot about optics. Knowledge of mechanics is
necessary too. The only plans I saw where those designed by myself... Have
you thought about metal cameras? Much easier to build, in my view, than
wooden ones... Greetings, George
