Which explanation is that? Probably the best on-line description that I
know of is at <http://www.cyberbeach.net/~dbardell/bellows.html>. You
should also take a look at the View Camera magazine article since it
offers some different ideas.

Sounds to me like you've got the idea. What do you need clarification
about? One suggestion, if possible, is to locate someone with a view
camera that you can look at. I spent a fair amount of time looking over
the view cameras at the local camera shops.

This kind of depends on what you want? I've used rubberized cordura nylon
for bellows material, cherry wood for the body, and aluminum for lens
boards. There are many many other possibilities.
