Daniel: since the material is so flexibel, how do you make it rigid, do
those paper spacers realy last?
About the Micro-Suede:
It sounds like a fabric, sold here in Europe, under the name of "Amaretta",
it's more or less an imitation of alcantara, both are polyester
micro-fibers. Amaretta is velvet/nubuck like, Alantara is a little bit
'rougher'. Both are used in furniture and clothing. So it should not be hard
to obtain: try your local furniture refurbisher (the guy/company who
make-over your furniture).
Amaretto is AFAIK made in Japan, Alcantara is produced in Italy (only plant
in Europe) but patents/rights are also held by the japanese.
I never tested it (don't want to cut up my coat) but it looks like a
light-tight material, and you can wash it after you camera hit the dirt.
Hope this helps for anyone looking for bellows material.
